Richard Rice
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Prior to the formation of PetroLogistics II LLC, Richard served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for PetroLogistics LP, an NYSE listed company, which developed, owned and operated the first Propane Dehydrogenation facility in North America. At the time of its commissioning in 2010, that facility was the largest PDH plant in the world. Prior to joining PetroLogistics LP and again after its sale to Flint Hills Resources in 2014, Mr. Rice was a partner at the law firm of Bracewell LP. During his 30+ year legal career with Bracewell, Richard worked on numerous domestic and international energy transactions, with a particular focus on the midstream sector and transactions relating to the acquisition, sale, construction and operation of petrochemical facilities, pipeline systems, storage facilities and related assets. Richard earned a B.S from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and also a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
